LAKEVIEW BOAT RAMP CLOSES FOR IMPROVEMENTS

ANDALUSIA, ALA.– The public boat ramp located on Gantt Lake in Lakeview on Highway 29 North will close beginning Wednesday, Nov. 9 for improvements. The ramp work is expected to take about four weeks.

Construction improvements include work on the existing pier and construction of an additional pier adjacent to the existing one.

PowerSouth will send a notice as soon as possible when the public boat ramp will reopen. In the meantime, visitors should use the boat ramp at Sandy Landing on the opposite side of Gantt Lake.
